Hi guys. Is anyone out there running this game to its full potential and if so whets your system specs. I have built a pretty high end system and I am just wondering if it will run this game ok. This is what I have currently.

Processor: INTEL E6700 at 2.67GHz
Ram:Corsair Value S. PC5300 DDR2 2048MB, 667Mhz
Grapics: Gainward GeForce 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3
MoBo: EVGA nForce 680i SLI, nForce-680i SLI
Hard Drive: 400gig

Thanks guys

Slugger,

Yes to your question. FSX takes a C2D processor, a decent DX10 video card and a minimum of 2 gigs ram which is what you have. How is your system running? Have you installed SP1 for FSX? It's not always about FPS, it's about fluidity.

Check out www.sim-outhouse.com and look for posts by TXNETCOP. He is building low cost systems that have 3DMARK06 scores of 10,000 to 14,500 and totally rock FSX.

Happy Flying!

Thanks Wiens for your reply. My system seems to be running ok I have to run a few tests to see if the RAM is up to speed but it does seem fine. I am only installing the game tonight I just got a bit spooked by all the posts on other sites of systems not being able to run this at a high frame rate with the scenery detail turned up high. I will let you know how I get on. Oh where do I get SP1 for this game?

I putted FSX on max settings on this pc.. and it runs fluent on 30 fps, so i'm fairly sure you pc is able to handle it well. perhaps not with DX10 contend enabled (if its in the game) but since the 8800GTS gets about the same fps's/scores as my cards, I cant see why it wouldnt run well.
