Minecraft Storyline?

Hello Everyone

Is there a storyline for minecraft? I've seen a lot of YouTube videos with the ender dragon and all that. How do I actually start the story line? So far I've just been building my house and making it look pretty.

So how do I actually start playing the storyline or is there even a storyline at all?

Thanks :good:

There really is no story line in Minecraft. Its a open world sandbox game. The way to get to the Ender dragon is you have to get what are called Eyes of the Ender or something like that. And then you throw them by right-clicking and then it will lead you to a stronghold. This can take a while so make sure you have plenty of food and maybe some material to make a shelter at night. Which there are three in a world, I think, and then one of them will contain the Ender Portal. Just jump in and fight the Ender dragon.

There is no story. To get the enderdragon:

You need 12 eye of ender
You need to find an end portal in the nether which are found in strongholds
You populate the end portal with the eye of ender to activate it and them go through to the end

In a cubical world, one life-form shone above all else. He was known as the Player, and he was destined to reform this mold-able landscape into something beautiful, something useful, something ... extraordinary. His adventures and experiments led him to create potions, enchant weapons and armor, and even create circuitry out of the resources around him. With enough dedication, he could even create a portal to the hellish Nether to harness the matter in that dimension.

All was well, the Player was living comfortably and accomplished, when they came. Tall, lanky monstrosities that roamed the land along with the other creatures and threats. Watching over them from his fortress before watering his plants, the Player noticed that the familiar landscape was slightly edited... blocks existed where they hadn't before just as commonly as blocks were absent where they once were. The Player was afraid that these man-like creatures had something to do with this, for the Player was always the sole life-form capable of reshaping the land. As if in response to his fears, one of these men pulled a cobblestone cube out of his wall. The Player quickly turned to the creature and was met with soul-gripping purple eyes locked into a death stare. The Player knew he was safe on his fortress, but the creature's dislodged jaw and jet black body still gave him the creeps. That was when it happened.

The creature disappeared in a puff of black smoke. The Player felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as he felt an icy presence behind him. Seeing the meter-long arms surround him confirmed his fear, and the Player panicked, splashing the creature with his bucket of water and running away. From a safe distance, the Player watched the slender monster writhe in pain. The Player felt no pity for it, and he quickly connected the creature's death to the water he splashed. Cautiously, the Player approached the creature's body and found a tiny, blue, opaque sphere in its 'hand'.

Curiosity cancelled his fears, and our Player experimented with this 'pearl'. He found it had alchemical use and could create items that reminded him of the Blazes he saw in the Nether. Hunting these Endermen (the name just sounded right to the Player) with water and brandished swords, the Player gained a surplus of these pearls. Combining these pearls with Blaze Powder from the Nether caused them to glow, but the Player did not see a use for them... until one day he rubbed the eye-like orb, causing it to rocket off towards the jungle in the West. A man of science, the Player repeated the event and was met with the same result... the Eye of Ender flew towards the West.

What was out there? Where did these Endermen come from? And why did the Player feel his life was approaching a climax? These questions and more are answered in *Minecraft*!

I just wrote this ... I wish I had the motivation to write in English class instead of here.
