so i just finished building my new pc but so far i havent been able to set it up. im using my friends microsoft usb keyboard but i dont think its being recognized because none of the buttons are working so i cant change the boot order or anything. is it normal that usb keyboards arent recognized in the bios?

second problem. right now i have my dvd rom and hdd hooked up to the 3rd and 4th sata slots because my video card kind of covers the first two (really bad placement). is this the reason windows vista doesn't immediately start up when the disk is in? would i have to change the boot order? if not i could probably squeeze them in.

its a msi 790x motherboard if that helps.

thanks

1# You probably need to use a PS/2 keyboard to get into the bios and enable USB keyboard support.

2# It doesnt matter about the Sata port, when you first boot up at the bios screen at the bottom it should say, press --- key to boot to DVD/CD rom. After you press it just pick the drive that the install disk is in.
