I made a small recording studio out of my pc. and I have a USB mulitrack mixer, a condenser phantom powered mic. and I have sony acid pro 7 for recording. now I have a guitar it has a direct usb plug, plus i can plug it into my mixer with reg cord. But the guitar sounds like its acoustic, and the guitar is electric. Does anybody know anything i can download to add in the electric effects.>?

Does acid pro accept VST effects? These are the most popular, but may take Direct X or one other type of effects, just look and see what the software information says about effects. Be prepared to spend some dough though because their not cheap!

Yeah, I had a USB guitar, it was a behringer. It was a trash the usb broke on it after a month, you want effects im guessing? Youll have to either put something in between the guitar and mixer or get software that can do effects.

Yeah its a behringer, Yeah it had bad reviews but mine has worked for almost 2 years now and no issues. Like i said just need a effects, Acid pro does accept VST. Do you guys know any programs or software to do it, I rather use software then buying something to put between guitar and pc. I know people have done it with software, just dont know names.
