Well that pretty much sums up my opinion. I'd wait for something better.
 
It's still #5 on Xfire's Top Game list. I own it on the 360 and enjoy it when I play it. What's wrong with it?

Gotta say man that was uncalled for and rather rude unless its a joke between friends. That image directly insults the poster and not the game. If you can't keep civil learn to skip replying to a thread.

I wouldn't buy it then on PC....not much difference as its pretty much a direct port. I am curious you have the first game aka COD4? If not I might have a decent deal for you :)

Alright. I always planned on picking it up for the PC once it went on sale, since I didn't buy it originally on the PC cause of the whole dedicated server BS. And yeah, I already have COD4, got it back when it came out, loved it, but moved on. Also thanks for the offer. :)

The picture perfectly reflects my opinion of the game not the poster(who I happen to think is awesome and have listened to all of there podcasts:good:). The post wasn't meant for you there for isn't any of your concern. It was obviously a joke, which gamer recognized. You shouldn't jump to conclusions about people.
 
Why not to get it on PC:

More lag than on consoles

More hackers than on console

You can't mute text speak, so you constantly have crap strewn across your screen that people are saying. Your choices for that are: Read the constant stream of rubbish people come out with, or let it hog up half your screen when you have 1 or more keyboard warriors going at it

No difference to the console version, other than you use the superior mouse and keyboard. If it had the PC extras (dedi servers, moderating servers, mods, competative support, lean etc) it would be worth getting it again

He didn't ask reasons not to get it full stop, otherwise that list would have been muuuuuuuuuuch longer what with the terrible gameplay, maps, DLC, price, singleplayer, the sort of people that play it, the ranking system and weapon system...just everything.

What exactly was it that gave away that I don't like the game :P ?

This plus the fact that they basically took everything great about 4 and got rid of it and over 9000'd everything people hated about it. BS perks, OP kill streak rewards, ect.

Would have been tolerable and probably fun if it didn't run off that god awful IWnet.
 
MW2 was fun when it came out for some time,but got repetitive imo...then again what games doesn't?

The reason people didn't like the game and wouldn't shut up moaning is because of it not having dedicated servers.

But did you guys know that MW2 generated the highest revenue by an entertainment product in 24 hours after its release?

To the OP ,Id get it now...play through the Single player,then do some multiplayer,by the time you have done that hopefully Black Ops will be out :)
