Why not just keep your ps2.
If space was an issue, idk, put it under your couch lol.
Seems like you wont use it very often. (thats just imo, maybe youre different)
 
The system version is actually up to 2.0 now :D Also I don't own many PS2 games, but if you wanna play games like Guitar Hero 1 or 2, you should keep it cause you still have to use the old guitars. Other than that, I don't think there really is a reason to keep your ps2?

Anyway I'm downloading a copy of yellow dog for ps3's right now.

Also Hyper Kagome, if you buy one, may I suggest at least the 60 gb if you want wifi internet connection option available to you.

I've been playing some demos this morning-Def Jam Icon, DiRT, etc.

Expensive? It's 499$ for the 80GB with a game and controller.

That's dirt cheap imo for what you get in the console, but then again not everyone can always get everything.

Ya im gonna be picking myself up a ps3 very very soon actually, I can't take it anymore being ps3less.
 
I have a 360, my bro has a ps3. Personally I like my 360, but I'm bias because its mine. But I do like his ps3, my favorite feature is the blue-ray movie capability. With my tv, the 1080p looks incredible. I think the 360 has better games though (for now...can't wait for mgs4).

Oh no, I guess I didn't say that right. The 80 GB one does have wifi. I was just saying at least the 60 gb if the 80gb was out of budget. I hear that the 40 gb has wifi also but come on, it's only 40 gb.

Well... I'll likely try and get the 80 Gig... If I get too annoyed with saving for that, I'll go for the 60.
 
The HDD space isn't that big of a deal though, cause the hundred you save on the 40GB model, can go towards a 200GB external HDD. Format it FAT32, and plug it in. It's what I would do, I sold all my PS2 games, and don't have a HDMI Port television, so the more expensive models don't got anything I need.
