Need a game recommendation

Hi all... I need a recommendation for a good single player campaign... not too into multiplayer unless its on PC..

Games I like ... MGS HD , Heavy Rain, Dreamfall the longest journey , Uncharted Series , Dark Souls , Alan Wake , Mass Effect Series , Indigo Prophecy , BFBC2

Games thats been recommended to me that I do not like : Gears of war 2 and 3, both boring, Resistance , Killzone , Red Dead Redemption , Fallout

Gameplay is not too important to me, plot is very important to me

I am thinking about picking up SSX.. anyone tried that?:confused:
 
Resident Evil 4!! . You will hate it at the beginning , because of the lousy pc controls, but if you change them, and some practice, you will handle. If the gameplay is less than average, the graphics are superb, and efficient, and the story is mind - blowing. Still one of my favorite games ever.

The controls that worked for me were :
ctrl - run/exit.
z- prepare knife
x - action
c - prepare gun.


If you prefer fantasy, Dark Messiah of might and magic is definitely an lovely choice.
 
ah resident evil 4 HD for the ps3... good call!! I loved that game.. I wouldnt mind playing that again

To be honest Dirt3 is a good game, if you like Racing/rally anyway. Otherwise Prototype, an epic game, graphics arent the best but the story is good, and Prototype2 is coming out soon enough :D
 
Dont! ever buy resi 4 for pc, one of my all time fave games, but for pc it sucks.....hard.

My recommendations for plot would be dragon age games, mass effects etc.

And to go hand in hand with razerd recs, grid. Basically dirt with track cars as opposed to rally cars. Quite refreshing from dirty cars after a while then vice versa with dirt 3. Both awesome racing games, probably my fave to date.

If your into skating games, i cant recomend skate 2 enough. One of my all fave time games.

Yeah I havent played Dirt3 yet as I'm poor and stuff and don't want to be consolol anymore so I have to wait for my new PC. Have played Grid and its awesome. Also Dirt2 is a good game, a bit old but the graphics (even on console) look pretty decent :D

the whitcher 2 is pretty good. and i liked the deom for ssx, would love to get it but don't see 50/60worth of a game
 
Not really into racing games all that much... So I think ill skip Dirt... I do like skateboarding games... Not really into the tony hawk games, little too over the top

@aastii .. Ive played everything you listed there and loved them all but I never played LA Noire.... It looked too much like GTA IV repetitiveness and boredom to me... Im all GTA'd out

o sorry, i thought Crysis was crap :)


and I also did not notice Mafia 2... never played that.. good plot?
 
If your into skating games, youll love skate. Totally revitalized the genre. I hate TH these days, after thug2 they just went downhill. Skate though, has a completely different set up, awesome gfx, and a lot more immersive in terms of the gameplay and how you do tricks.

You can but its a pain in the arse setting up, and the graphics pre patch are shocking. they really dumbed it down. In even after the patch the gfx werent great. Iirc you can have a decent resolution either. On top of that theres also practically nothing in terms of settings etc.
 
SSX has been awesome since day 1. Haven't played SSX3 myself (Only had the first two for PS2).

Bulletstorm is really good.

IMO one of the best, i loved that game immensely. Its very engrossing and for me i couldnt put it down. Much better in story telling than say gta iv. That said its a little strange how you play different eras and years.

Some awesome moments though. I would definitely recommend it. Some parts really make you think, "holy shit".

Crysis 2 was crap, I didn't even finish playing it and I hate it. That's what happens when you take PC exclusive games and you release them on console.

And Mafia 2 and L.A Noire are great games. Mafia 2 has a great plot and L.A Noire is a whole different gaming experience in itself.

I love SSX Tricky. I played that game everyday on gamecube. Great game. Then I played 2 and didn't really like it. :D
