need a new gaming computer

hey everyone, i apologize if this is the wrong section but it's my first time using these forums and i was just hoping to find a place where i could find people who would be able to help me.

basically i'm a kid on a budget(not a very good one either). i really want to upgrade my computer for the upcoming release of diablo 3, and it would be cool if i could play games like skyrim as well.

i have a bad budget, i must admit, so i can't go around buying 800-1200+ dollar computers. i'm hoping to get something cheap, maybe 400-600 maybe even 700 dollars. i don't need to be able to play games on ultra settings, but if i could play some of the newer games on at least medium settings with good fps i would be happy.

i have found a few computers while searching online, and i'll link them. please tell me what you think about them (there are 3) and let me know which one, if any will be able to handle diablo 3 and games like skyrim (on at least medium settings). if none of them can, i would greatly appreciate it if you could post the links for a cheap computer that might be better suited for my budget and for what i need.

keep in mind that i don't have a great knowledge of computers, so telling me to build my own and listing of parts i'll need does not help me, it only confuses me. i would prefer to find an already assembled computer.

thank you for your time!

thanks for the reply!

i have heard that building your own computer can be cheaper and give more satisfying results, but it just seems a little complicated for me. on my old computer, i tried installing a new graphics card to make it work better, but both cards i tried to buy (one after the other) didn't fit. i don't understand what i need to get.

now i'm using a dell laptop to play games like WoW and LoL, but i know it won't perform well with the newer games coming out, especially diablo 3 which is what i'm really looking forward to.

what did you think about the computers i linked jonny? the one you linked is a little more expensive, and i believe i would have to put those parts that you also linked into the computer myself. it's never fun having a budget but i'm an 18 year old kid who can't afford to spend so much money on a computer right now haha.

if i can't find something in my price range that is preferably already assembled, i might have to just cut my losses and buy a ps3 so i can at least enjoy skyrim and the many other games ps3 offers.

i might be persuaded to build my own computer if someone can show me every single part that i would have to buy, so that there is no mistake over whether it is the right part (also assuming it fits into my budget). then i would need to look up a tutorial like you said.

For the ones you listed, the best would be the first one, although I don't know why you would put OSX on a gaming computer.

But yes, this is what we're here for. Go to the desktop section and post a thread explaining you want to build a computer for such and such games, and give a precise budget. Also need to know if you need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, any other thing and people will give you lists of what to buy or suggest changes to other lists.

the ones you linked are crap really, the first was the best like claptonman said, but osx isn't going to let you play nearly any game, unless you install one of the windows emulators or whatever, but idk how good that works. i'm guessing he did that cuz hackintosh is free i'm guessing vs 100 for windows. but the comp i linked is way better and you just plug and screw the card in, then take out the old power supply and put the new ones cords in all the spots the old one's were, not that hard, i'm 15 and i've done it multiple times

hey thanks again for the quick replies.

well jonny that computer you posted might be my best bet for an already made computer if the ones i linked were really that bad, so thanks for that.

i'm gonna go ahead and do what you suggested clapton and make another thread to see if i can build my own.
