ok, first off, i would suggest getting a better motherboard. spend an extra 20 bucks if need be, it's well worth the money in the long run.

second, both the processor and graphics card are over priced.

the duron cpu's are AMD's bottum line processors. for that price you should be able to find an Athlon XP cpu.

the radeon 7000 is outdated. i wouldn't say that it sucks, but for 60-70 bucks you should be able to get at least a radeon 9200 (buttom line from Ati these days) with 128 megs of DDRam.

personally, i think you are getting a good deal on the case and power supply. chieftec makes good quality cases and are a joy to work with.

as to the memory. for a linux system 128 would be plenty. but if you plan on running win 2000/XP then it's not really. 128 megs of ram are the minimum to get those to distro's of windows running, so you can probably imagine at what level they run on a system that barely meets the minimum requirements.

anyways, good luck with whatever you decide to go with.

Error, Error the mobo you list is for a P4 cpu and the cpu you list is an AMD, they are not compatible and just plain won't fit together.
