Hi, i've recently purchased a Belkin wireless system, it is the N1 Wireless Modem Router (the best one apparently). but it doesn't appear to install properly on my pc, my pc having Vista on i'm not sure if it is not compatible with it. Also my last modem was a USB connection so i am not sure if that has anything to do with it aswell. Could someone help me with it? i would be very grateful for anyones help.
maybe someone could guide me through the process aswell if possible?

Well first off what isn't working? Wireless, wired, or what? I assume wired since you mentioned USB, but does wireless work? Can you access any computers on the network or the router itself(I think Belkin is 192.168.2.1) If you can pink(start > run > cmd > ping 192.168.2.1(or whatever that address is) or simply go to your browser and type in that address... That way we could tell if your internet's not connect, a network problem, or the router's not working.

ah this is my let down, i'm not that computer literate. i can ask my dad as he knows more, please bear with me, as it may be a good few hours before i can ask him.

It is something to do with the drivers, apparently according to an e-mail i received from belkin. The drivers are now being provided on their web-site so as it will be compatible with vista.
Soz for wasting time, but i only just got the e-mail.

Drivers?? Such a router does not require any drivers. Now you still have yet to mention how you're connecting to it so I have no clue if your network cards are working, but you do NOT need drivers for a router if you're using standard wireless or ethernet.
