Networking without Internet

How would I network two computers without giving one of the computers any internet capabilities while the other has full capabilities? Both are running XP.

Well the two simplest ways would be:
1. Use a firewall
2. Block the client corresponding to the no-internet computer via LAN restrictions within the router settings

I'm thinking about doing a Homeplug network intead of a normal 10/100. It would be similar, right?

If homeplug = AC networking then it would be similar however make sure the power in your area is clean or you're not gonna have a fun time
