Never Played Diablo before what is it exactly

Ive never played it before is it MMO? RPG i dont understand online reviews kinda confuse me. it looks cool but is there anything that makes it worth buying? game seems interesting because its released on my Bday

I mean to maybe buy Diablo 3 I meant ive never played the Diablo series -.-

Watch the youtube vids, I have diablo 1 and 2 and Im buying 3, its really addicting.

Yea, I play them on my laptop. Classics. To bad my D2 account got deleted for inactivity, I had a good smite palidain, fire sorc, and frenzy barb. Ahh good times.

Ever played Torchlight, Titan Quest, or Fate? Very similar to that style.

Sacred and Sacred Underworld are two games that are very much alike Diablo series. Be careful though, both Diablo and Sacred series are really long games, with really intricate stories and quests. I'd suggest to play Diablo 2 first (go directly for the "Lord of Destruction" expansion. The expansion contains the the intial game AND extras). It will be a lot of hack and slash, but Blizzard makes the best game stories ever!

It's crazy for me to see that the original came out in 96. I was born in 79, so a lot of my frame of reference for 'time' is with video games.

A couple of years ago a bought a pristine 96 Corvette with 32k miles on it. It's odd to think that my car is as old as the first Diablo game.

The first two Diablo games were great. They were hack and slash but had randomized dungeons so the game was never exactly the same. I haven't seen a word on if the new one will have the randomized stuff or not.
