New computer build

so im gonna get a now computer for college. Im prolly gonna start building this in a few months. the budget is about 1200, but im trying to keep it at 1000.

Abit KN8 SLI s939
AMD 4200 X2
1gb PQI Turbo RAM
2x XFX 6600gts
Seagate 7200.7 NCQ 80 Gb
Raidmax Astro Case
Atrix PSAX 550W +12v1 19A, +12v2 20A

All of that is like 1000 the mobo is nice because its got passive cooling on the chipset. Other than that i might go for speakers, mouse and keyboard for ~80 and i might have about 100-150 more to spend on it.

There is no point in getting dual video cards, as the 7800 GT will outperform, so I'd suggest getting that instead of dual video cards.

CPU is a decent for games.
Nice RAM
Hard Drive could be enlarged (I thought I only needed 80GB but after installing so many games on my PC.....I got 7 GBs left...)
Get a 7800GT rather than that SLi setup.

Yea as said above. Its stupid to get 2 6600gt. the 7800gt will outperform and then in the future u can upgrade to another one. its a much better solution.
