Hello all, new to the site. I am not very computer literate,so please bear with me.

I recently replaced an Nvidia 5200 card with a Radeon X1300PRO.

I replaced the stock power unit (max 250W) with a new one (400W)

While the graphics seem to look much crisper and clearer, games seem to run slower. Is this due to RAM? I have 512MB of DDR RAM. It's a Pentium 4 CPU with HT if it makes a difference. Any ideas?

I run the MSI Radeon X1300 Pro here with 2gb of Kingston Value Ram and have no problems with the 480w supply used. The games with the more intense graphics will tend to draw on the card's vpu more where a larger supply and another 512mb dimm of the same type and preferrably same brand should see an improvement there. What make and model is the board itself?

you did uninstall the nvidea drivers from your previouse card and i always think for playing games in xp you should have atleast 1gig of mem
