hi i am in the market for a new laptop. I used to have a presario 2100 for about 4 years until it recently broke. I want something that i can play games on (americas army) so it needs to be able to run fast enough and have a good screen, use it for school, a lot of music (ipod), and i want something that has a long battery life. good audio is a plus. cant spend much more than 1500-2000. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because i have no idea about what i should be looking at

Dell latitude 110L meets those standards. just remember laptops cant have both good battery life and really good gaming performance so i hope you only use it for light gaming

Well the Penitum M gets really good battery life, but the video card will drain it slightly. Pentium M's are the best if you want to game and need long battery life.

i wont be playing it a lot, but i still want a pc that will hold a long charge because i will probably be using it on campus. could anybody give me some specific computer models? im not really a fan of dell

yes definately the PM then or the AMD alternative the turion i think, the laprop cards are disigned to use less battery life but they still will use quite a bit. the mobility 9700 or the 6600 go or the 6800 go are very good for a laptop
