My opinion is that it has a hell of a long way to go before it can expect to be any kind of threat to google.
The search results are not very good so far, too many results from the same site.

true, and because google have millionnnnnnnnn of page than msn,
but the new msn search engine is not bad at all, if msn invest in this stuff for the next few year, it might b better than google
The reason i like google because when i want to buy some product, it have those advertiser and their product are pretty good, so that is the advantage for google, and so those IMAGE FUNCTION, muhahaha

well msn definitely have the financial backing to be taken seriously.
looks like everyone wants to copy google though.
I also like yahoo search, the technology i think is google based but the results are different.

Did you know that MSN keep creating test servers for hotmail. Often with addresses like hmtest.com. You can create new accounts and they have extra large mailboxes and stuff like that.

I stand corrected, It looked like google technology with a slightly different algorithm, but from what I have read on the net, looks like it is all yahoo powered.

i'm giving MSN some slack becuase they aren't like google where they have just a search engine...they have alot of stuff going on! Email, news, Instant messaging, and probably more stuff that i don't know about.
