Personally, neither the DS nor the PSP grabbed me (or my wallet ). They were both first released almost 3 years ago (right?) so...

I was wondering if there was any news, rumors, or even any sort of talk about the next generation of handhelds. I'm just sort of curious if anyone has heard anything so post anything.


On google, I found a couple of things but it didnt really look reliable (for lack of a better word). Do you think Microsoft is going to try and get in on the handheld world?

Apple has already confirmed that they are in the process of making some sort of handheld gaming device.

I like apple except for their weak gaming...maybe that will all change with an iGameboy lol

Nintendo patented some hand-held motion sensing technology, although rumors are that they don't plan on making anything with it. They only did it so nobody else could cut in on their profits.

Yeah I'm gonna wait for the price to go down on a normal PSP because of the PSP Slim

The PSP slim isn't the PSP2. I believe that's still at least a year down the pipe...

Apple doesn't need to enter the hand-held gaming scene, they already have one: Solitare on the iPod. Doesn't that keep you preoccupied enough?
