I was wondering what the bige difference is between the Nvidia nforce 680i and 780i chipsets. As far as i can tell, there doesn't appear to be a worthy difference to justify the double cost of the 780i.
What are some of the big differences that make these board better? I really don't want to spend such big money on one but I was wodnering if thetre is anything worth the cost
I was looking at:
XFX nforce 680i LT SLI (AU$280)
XFX nforce 780I SH9 (AU$415)
My system is:
Intel Q6600
2x XFX 8800GT 512MB in SLI
4GB Corsair DDR2 PC-6400/800 (4xXMS2 1GB) TWIN2X2048-6400C4 Ram
2x Seagate 500GB SATA II 32MB 7200rpm HDD
Pioneer SATA 215BK Dual Layer DVD-R/RW
ASUS Lightscribe 18x SATA Dual layer DVD-R/RW
Thermaltake ToughPower Pro 750w
D-Link DWL-G520M Mimo 108G
Leadtek DTV2000H Hyprid TV Tuner
Zalman CNPS9700 LED Copper heatsink
Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Sound Card
Antec P182
Ot if not, also suggest other chipsets able to run SLI that will suit my system
Thanks,
