Sorry for yet another thread, but I want to be absolutely sure before i build my new system.

I'm buying this mobo.

Now it has a northbridge chipset called NVIDIA Quadro NVS210S. Has anyone heard anything about this? I know this mobo is stated as a more business mobo, I just want to make sure that northbridge will be able to handle graphic intensive stuff, mainly gaming.

Also, can the northbridge limit your abiity to use direct x 10? Or is that strictly within the graphics cards limitations?

Its the GPU that is responsible for you DirectX version. The gaming chipsets from nVidia are usually nForce I believe. This one may not be as good for gaming.

The Quadro is a line of chips designed for rendering where a lot of memory power is needed but since the images aren't required in real time unlike a gaming graphics card they can get away with having low clocks. If you want the best integrated chipset then go for the AMD 690G chipset, it'll be better for gaming but no-where near as good as ahalf-decent dedicated graphics card.

No no I'm not planning on utilizing the onboard graphics. I have an 8699gt for that. What I'm wondering is if this particular quadro northbridge will be slower for gaming than other chipsets.
