Norton 360

So im trying to be a tight git ! I currently have Norton 360 version 4 installed on my laptop, it has now expired and I don't want to pay the £55 for another years cover. So my question is if I bought a version 2 or a version 3 would it still work? These versions of Norton are only about £10 - £20 on Ebay. If any one has done this or knows an answer I would be grateful for your post.

The older versions most likely are not supported. I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials to replace it. It is free, and what I use.

ok, thanks for that. will now go and look for windows essentials. ive always paid for anti virus, now I feel a bit silly ! Would you suggest I remove Norton 360 entirely from my computer ?

Most definately, use their removal tool.
