My machine would not boot up because of ntoskrnl.exe is currupt or missng. Well I managed to get it up and running, reinstalled windows XP Pro and ran Norton's virus scan that was up to date, but found nothing. The machine then gave me a error message about Microsoft explore had a fault in bla bla and would shut down. Then it wouldn't reboot because the ntoskrnl.exe was currupt or missing AGAIN. I then formated the drive under dos, all 120gigs of it (whah). I reinstalled windows XP Pro and used Partition magic to check the drive. Partition Magic said the information was: Type of Drive-BAD. Is the drive junk or what ? It's running at the moment but could go any second.
