Hey, what do you think of my overclock?

original: 450Mhz core clock
660Mhz Memory clock

Now: 610Mhz Core Clock
780Mhz Core Clock

This is only my 2nd overclock so let me know is it good?

Btw my temperature after 20 minutes of COD2 on 1280x1024 and full everything else on DX9 was 59 degrees c.

artifacts could look like that,.. or just exteme fancy colours ^^
anyhow.. the screen doesnt look as it should look :)

Yeah, that's a nice GPU overclock, what brand is your card? Did you made a voltmod too, or only overclocked through a software?

it is an nvidia 7900GS, it came through dell and i dont know what make, no i didnt voltmod, im just gonna quit while im ahead lol. I used coolbits to enable the nvidia control panel so i could overclock. I just overclocked again, now running 630Mhz core, (650 is GTX!) and 800Mhz memory, (1600 effectively)

OK then, so you have to overclock it using some software, right? But if you reach a stage when you start seeing 'artifacts', can you go to BIOS and overvolt to increase stability?

Yes there are, you can get a higher overclock. You just can't do anything to it with the BIOS, AFAIK.

Thats exactly what I said.

If you start reaching a stage where you see too many artifacts, you can go to BIOS, up the voltage, go back to rivatuner and overclock even more, right?
