online gaming ruined by idiots. what to aviod

yes all online games have them no matter what platfrom you play on people who pride themselves on spoiling the game not even bothering trying to play the game like their good fellow gamers.

gtr2 i think is the most annoying for this u get great races good wheel to wheel battles knowing the person u are racing against will not hit you on purpose. but then every once and a while u get idiots who think its funny to mess up the game, instead of trying to race like a human and try to win following the rules they see it in their hand to drive in the wrong direction taking out the leaders or other drivers or they wait at the start of a long straight were they end up smashing you from behind, the server i just came off had this problem i cant see why a person would drive like this i mean why buy a game if you are not going to play it properly to me its abit sad, they would be better off buying destruction derby.

things to look out for people who in qulifying just mess on and dont try and do a timed lap vote them out asap before the race starts otherwise your race will be over on the first lap and all that hard work in practice and quli would be for nothing.

anyone else get annoyed with these game wreckers if so what game and what do they do?
i think this would be good as other gamers can see what sort off things to look out for and avoid when they are playing online

i get these a lot. last night i was playing CS:S, the map was fy_iceworld_css. some guy in the CT had wallhacks and the admin wasn't there. once us terrorists spawned, (there was freezetime ) 5 seconds later for no reason, we all died...
 
Ever heard of 'War Rock'? Pretty fun free2play FPS game... if you can get into a game where someone doesn't cheat or whine. 90% of the time when someone dies, the person who got shot gets on the chat and whines that the other person is lagging or cheating. Very annoying. I stopped playing after I reached level 13 status because I couldn't stand it anymore.
 
You know, you really get used to people cheating and whining...

I mean, you can't do anything while admin isn't here so you got two options:
1) you leave, you find another server
2) you kill them, hard but fun when you succeed

People whining is just so annoying on Source... but you get used to it, just don't answer, they'll shut up.

yup this is a big problem in warrock,Imo warrock wont last very long the way its going :cool:
 
what to avoid? kinda hard to avoid something thats in every game really...all you can do is learn how they come, what they can do, and how to deal with it.

But every game is different...some have more than others.
 
When you play a Gmod build server.... There is one guy that constantly hits you with props... It about drove me crazy... And then when there is like 3 ppl on an RP or Combine control server, the admins have a power trip...
 
Hmmm, Game wreckers. I would have to say HALO PC would have to be the worst game with game wreckers. I have been playing it since it came out. I cannot stand playing in public servers anymore. People are so retarted at the game (running over teamates with warthogs, killing eachother with grenades and rockets.) The game used to be fun in...2004-2006.

Yo man. I agree with you. whats worse on halo is that the game doesnt start until everyone agrees by letting the clock count down 10...9...8... but you always get an asshole whole delays the countdown to start the game!

lol, couldn't agree more, that count down is such an a**, no seriously, i remember when playing halo 2 on xbox we connected 3 xbox via a switch and for no reason the game never started, cause someone can stop the count even at 0..lol :D:D
 
people who purposely wreck games for others like that make me sick.
i wish i could hunt them down and beat the crap out of them for being such arrogant pricks.


however, looking at the other side of it (the side that most admins/mods will look at) if it is within the games rules then technically the player isn't doing anything wrong.
 
Every game should have a vote kick like Counter Strike. The game I love and hate the most online is Company Of heros you wait 30mins for everyone to join then:-
The host kicks off the good players off the enemy side.
Then kicks the crap players off his own side than another 20min wait.
When the game starts you have all the best players on the host side and noobs on the other.
Once the game begins and the host side begins loosing he quits in a way that hangs the game. Sometimes you get a little kid on your own team that barbwires your own HQ so your stuck and cant do anything. Even worse some players have 56k modem on a top end PC ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Indeed. With halo 3 if you kill a team mate over 3 time (either 2 or 3) the person that got killed gets to choose if the player gets kicked from the game. If he/she gets kicked from the game then they get -1 point. Spot on if you ask me.
