I just got PS2 online today after running at 15 FOOT cord from my router to the PS2 and I have a problem. I can connect and race on my motocross game that I have but the main reason why I got this was football and baseball. I can't seem to connect to Madden 2005 and MVP Basebal 2005 and their both EA games. It says on Madden that my connection is bad and on MVP it says I can't connect to the EA server. Can someone help me?

That's the tradeoff with being able to play online for free with the ps2.
It's free, of course.
But it's entirely up to the host of the server how long they're going to keep hosting games.
I know i bought auto modellista like 3 months after it came out, and the server was already gone. If nobody plays it, they just pack up and take it down, since they're not making any money.
At first i was opposed to the idea of xbox live (i'm a ps2 owner, BTW) but after i saw how sparse online competitors were for ps2 games, i kinda wish sony would adopt a similar online community.
