panasonic nv-gs150 on the mac os x

Hey,
I was wondering how to get iMovie HD to recognise the Panasonic NV-GS150, via usb or firewire (usb would be better) and what setting to put it on?

I'm pretty sure Firewire would just work... I know iMovie detects my Sony without any problems using Firewire.
