PC racing game?

I want to get a racing game for my PC, but dont know of any good ones(besides Dirt series). I really dont like street/city racing, more like real/simulation racing games. I really like Forza(xbox) and Gran Turismo(ps3), but I dont think they make them for PC, so I need a game thats as close as possible to Forza/Gran Turismo. FYI, I played Grid, but it's not as in-depth as forza/Gran Turismo. So any suggestions are weclome, and plz, recommend games that you actually played, not heard that its was good, thx.

a game called Auto Club Revolution. It's still in beta form and isn't quite as polished and good as the other titles, but it's super accurate. Free to play, too.

@OP WHat about the F1 games? I know theyre very niche in who they appeal too, but i cant imagine you getting a more serious game in terms of racing. Maybe you could call them simulation games.

Need For Speed: Shift or Need For Speed: Shift 2? I used to have Shift and it was a bit like Forza. Not played Shift 2 but assume it's the same sort of thing.

Most of the other Need For Speeds are arcade/street racing games, so you wouldn't like them.
