Petium D 805 heat problem

The build i have on my sig is having some heat problems with the Petium D 805 cpu

the temp is around 45 when not under load. and can easily go over 60 when half of the core is at full load. The fan is full speed and is super load, its like someone left the drill on.

My brother plays game on that pc and the game he is playing do not support duo core, i don't think since only half of the core is at max when i look at it from the speed fan wile the game is running.

Is there any heat sinking that is not load and will lower the cpu temp and still not be very expansive? the pc is only 400 dollars so i don't want to span 60 or 70 on the fan alone.

thanks

First off I must say that the Pent D's ain't that heat efficient anyway...

However I appreciate your issue and I would recommend some Arctic Silver 5 and perhaps you could look at a Thermalright Ultra 120, it's expensive but with a high-CFM fan it's bloody good.

I have arctic silver 5.

The Thermalright Ultra 120 is it quiet? rather then the heat i am more concerned with the noise of the fan. But of course the heat is also a big problem.

is there any heat sinking thats efficient and quiet?

thanks
