Neverwinter Nights 2, I am glad to say I was pleasantly surprised when picking up this 1 y/o game. The graphics are good and game play and character development are superb, it is a shame I did not pick this one up earlier.

I was reading too, I guess there is an expansion coming out soon.

Anyone play this game, have a similar reaction about older games they would like to share. I feel like I hit gold. Plenty of updates already, I have thought for awhile about getting it, thinking it maybe be antiquated I passed for games like 2-worlds, which I beat.

I am glad I picked it up.

This game is not old by any means, but I feel like I my purchase was worthwhile with BioShock! w000h0000

Glad to hear you're having fun! :-D

I am just now playing Condemned: Criminal Origins. I like it!

I picked up Neverwinter Nights 2 a couple months ago (I played the hell out of the first one).

I'd have to say that I found it to be "okay". I found it to be too similar to the original. They even recycled a lot of the same sounds, voices, and such. I mean, some would view this as a good thing, but when you play the first as much as I did...

Yeah, it gets kind of redundant.

I might get this. I love Forgotten realms crap (Books, games) and used to play baldur's gate, and icewind dale 1-2 all the time. It be be in the bargain bin too, which is a turn on.

yeah but too bad NVN2 is just KOTOR with D&D instead of Jedis. I played through the whole game and I liked it, but at the same time, was kind of disappointed.

Why do they keep putting off giving me my damn Castle!! They were like yea when you beat this dude in the arena you can have this sweet castle...32232 quests later there still like "Dude I got something I need you to take care of...because if I leave this spot I'm standing in I will rip a hole in the space time continuum and we will all burst into billions of tiny little alpacas"

I loved KOTOR 1-2, but haven't played either in years.. i wouldn't mind trekking through the same crap, but in the Neverwinter\forgotten realms universe. :D Besides so many great games these days are nothing more than clones, what sets them apart is if they're good clones, and if they manage to impart their own identity, through game design and a good story.
