Well it probably has something to do with the sound card not showing up in the device manager. Have you tried reinstalling the sound card (i.e. taking it out of the PCI slot and putting it back in for Windows to recognize)?

P.S. Telling us we are of no help will not get us to help you more quickly...just an idea.

wow u formatted cuz of that..

u barely posted like a week ago.. not everyone here is on 24/7 and when someone is, they may have problems they are trying to sort out also, or they might not know an answer or suggestion.. but here's my opinion even though you resolved it through formatting.. for future references if it does occur again..

its just a picture so there is no point in uploading it onto rapidshare, having us wait, then dowload it, and open it.. just imageshack it...

but.. have it worked with other music files before? if it did, thats probably not a sound card issue if it has worked previously..
what media player are you using? it can be codecs, and the file man in me may be currupted when coding or uses an unreliable program to code/convert it into .mp3...

so what media player are u using?

EDIT: try winamp, if you dont already have it.. and let it try playing that file.
