I need multiple choices. Also by "console" can I consider my emulators valid? I put my consoles in storage as its easier to play on PC
If so these are my current gaming setup.
Atari 2500
NES
SNES
Dreamcast
Sega
Playstation
Xbox
Playstation 2
Newer consoles are to expensive still and no emulation support so I wont buy till both happen. Also most the games suck...the few I want though are RPG games from the PS3. I voted "Why do i need one when i have a COMPUTER?" as it seems fitting
360 is the only console I have and the only reason I picked it up was because so many of my friends have one that when games come out on both they end up getting it for 360 instead of PC.
Would never have payed full price, but I picked up a barely used Elite with a ton of games and stuff for $140.
Look occasionally on craigslist for a cheap PS3 for a blu ray player.
PS1 is the absolute beast. Some of the games are so original, addictive, and creative, I sometimes end up playing them instead of today's huge, graphic-intensive $100 games. I'm so glad my PS1 still works when I just wanna lose myself in some awesome games.
However, add an X360, Wii, GBA, GBA-SP & a DS into the mix. I actually regret the purchase of an X360, I'm only keeping it for Gears of War 3
