power issue

when I just put my new motherboard in it would turn itself on after being of for a few minutes now it will not shut down it automatically reboots not sure why this is, board is an ecs ka3 mvp board

Whats the PSU spec?

Also have you check that your case switches are plugged into the motherboard correctly (e.g. there not upside down or on the wrong pins). Refer to your motherboard manual for this. Another thing to try is disconnect the reset switch from the motherboard and try booting up with out that plugged in.

If the above don't help post back and will look deeper into it.

i know all switches are plugged in and im pretty sure that its the board because it only started after this one was put in, someone told me that some motherboards can be set to boot on network activity so i will check in the bios when i restart.
