Printing Text on Christmas Cards

This is a strange request, but whenever I give gifts I always give magazine subscriptions. So I usually write the name of the magazine, my Christmas greeting, and my signature on a Christmas card. The thing is that my handwriting is horrible and no one can ever read it.

Anyway my questions is, would there be any trick to getting my Christmas card into the printer and have the text I type in Word print where I want it to on the Christmas card, or do I just have to try putting the card in different places and guess around? I know Word can configure to print on envelope (I'm not sure how, I've never done it), so would there be anyway to get the text to print in the space I want on the card instead of using the 8 1/2 x 11 template that is the default on Word.

First of all, thanks for the replies... I'm not interested in making the actual cards, I just want to place the ones I've bought into the printer and print my short message in the space the card supplies.

ms publisher contains sample greeting cards that you can customize and print, you can use the greeting card you bought to print

Making your own greeting cards is easy, and alot cheaper that those 2-3 dollar greeting cards that you can probably make for less than 1.00 within a couple clicks.

Just measure the size of the cards, and set the paper size in Word or Powerpoint to that size, and print it.
