Processor problem

I'm going to buy a laptop soon and I'm stuck between two laptops, basicly I don't know weither to go with a Athlon AMD 3000 or a p4 3.6 with HT, I do alot of multitasking, I heard you can't upgrade AMD so I'm alitlte hesitant because of that. I do alot of 3d modeling, architechture, and digital audio stuff. Responce would be greatly appreciated. Thanksalot

One other thing, the HD of the AMD one that I want to buy is only 4200 rpm, can I upgrade any HD into a laptop, or are only certain ones going to fit?

As long as its a laptop HDD then you should be fine
