PS2 HD Cables?

nah, like you said most of the games are interlaced anyways

and the graininess is from the upconverter in the tv, not the connection
 
I bought one of those off Ebay a couple days ago to play FF12. If you're still interested i'll post the results when i get them.

Pretty much everything i hear says that PS2 component IS an upgrade over composite.. I do think that they'll make the picture a bit less fuzzy. But if they don't.. no skin off my nose, I got 'em dirt cheap. :D

I just hope it doesn't make it look worse.. :(

I've used composite, s-video, and component, and while i will say s-video is a HUGE improvement over the regular composite (even on ps1) the component and s-video look pretty much identical.

then again, like you said, when i bought my s-video cable back in the day it was $40. $10 for a component cable can't hurt.......

Yeah I plugged in the S-Video cable I have for the PS2 and there is a decent change, but it still is not to my liking :( I figured I would try the component cables just for ha ha's at this point. I looked at Game Stop, but I dont feel like spending $20 on them

I would be in heaven if I could get my PS3 to play my PS2 games. I think I have played my PS3 maybe 5 times since I got it, I just cant stop playing my PS2
 
My ps2 is on it's way out. Once a modchip comes out for ps3 that's fully compatable with ps2 backups, i'll get one.

Wouldn't make any sense buying a new ps2 at this point, but my game videos are starting to skip, and it's loading slower and slower. :(

I probably only ever used the thing ~100 hours since i got it. What a POS

Well they better hurry up and make a mod chip for the PS3 because mine is the most expensive damn bookend around :(
