Im trying to find a good PCU, for my build, but I don't know much about which are good/bad. Can someone recommend some good PSU companies? I havent chosen the rest of the parts yet, so I dont know the exact wattage, but knowing what manufactures are reputable is a start. Is Cooler Master any good? Any disadvantages in having more that one 12v rail? And is having a modular PSU a big deal, or it it fairly easy to tie up the extra cables?

You'll want to stay with brands from Antec, Corsair, Pc power and cooling, Seasonic, Silverstone, XFX. We won't know what psu to recommend really until you tell us what parts you'll be buying. Basically, once we know at least the video card or games you want to play, then we tell you what psu you'll need. The games determine what video card you'll need and then the video card determines what psu you need. If you like to keep the inside of the case looking neat then you may want a modular unit.

This is the build so far. I haven't chosen a graphics card yet, but im looking for a moderate one. I wont be playing games like BF3, but I will be playing games like Empire total war.
