PSU wires

i have 2 wire strand with molex periferal connectors and each strand has 3 connector. if i could connect all fans, hard drives, and optical drive to only 1 strand, would that unevenly distribute the load on the 12v rail or should i use up all 6 molex connectors? i really want to just tuck and hide that extra strand so it doesn't block air or take up space, but if it's more beneficial for the PSU if i distribute the load to both strands, then i'll do that

i'm assuming your using at least 2 +12v rails, in that case i'd say so long as your drives and fans are on a separate rail than your cpu/graphics/motherboard it's probably good. i'm not 100% sure on this, but for the most part it'd be ok, on my current build i have three 12cm fans on one set, and then 2hdd and 2 optical drives on the other, and i've had them all on one, which still ran fine.
