Hi, I've been playing video games for about all my life and I just got into PC gaming about 2 years ago and now I'm just starting to have this problem I like to play WoW and and basically any thing by valve and recently I've been getting this issue where It goes from 60 fps to 1 fps and It just started to happen this week 
my friends told me it was vsync so I shut that off and it still does it I thought maybe it was a virus of some sort or just a program that's taking up a lot of space and nothing came up I've looked for answers of this all over the web but found nothing please help
