reinstalling OS after new motherboard in laptop

Hi,

My laptop's slowing up a bit and I was going to reinstall the OS again sometime in the future. However, I had to put the factory restore OS (XP) when I got my mobo restored. I have my own copy of Vista and i was thinking about putting it back on my computer. How much trouble is it to get the OS back on my laptop if it has a new mobo?

Make sure you can get Vista drivers for the mobo chipset and other components. Check your laptop manufacturer's support page.
