Router problems

I just replaced my router with a wireless one. I installed it as it said in the manual and I created the network however I cannot connect to internet. Can anyone help me and tell me what I could try please?

Have you logged into the router and checked the settings? Is everything DHCP or do you have to manually enter anything? And what isn't getting on the internet? Anything, or just wireless?

Also, some routers have a button on them that enable/disable wireless. Make sure yours is enabled if that is how you are trying to connect.

If you are using dsl and didn't put your pppoe info in that could be your problem.

Yes I put my pppoe information which consisted only of password and login. When I click on connect, it tries to connect and then I get 'cannot connect to server'. Any help please? Could the wireless router be faulty? But the LAN is working perfectly. Only internet connection is not working.
