S.T.A.L.K.E.R - mods

so im playing Stalker - shadow of Chernobyl again
and ive been looking for some mods to make the game a bit more fresh
what i have found so far is (i haven't tested any yet )

nuclear snow mod - makes that game like a graffic novel (sin city) nearly all black and white(or heavily desaturated) with red blood and harsh lighting http://stalker.filefront.com/file/NUCLEAR_SNOW;80146 looks cool but v scary dont even want to think about blood suckers in that lighting *shudders*

I found a realism mod so that increases guns accuracy as well as other "problems"

Changes many things atmospheric wise, Adds horror time in the middle of the night when more mutants will spawn, random blowout waves, Alive mods, retextures, the best being a super cool loner type seen below (mask and trench coat), etc. Best mod for Stalker IMO.

Hmm, no but there is a Reality mod that will do that as well as change some gun accuracy and some other stuff that would nice to change IMO.

i cant use these mods yet any way coz im patched up to 1.0004 so untill there fixed for that then i will have to wait

Stalker patches suck. Did they fix the new one so you didn't have to start over your game?

From what I know of mods, they are designed and intended for a certain version of a game. When a new patch is introduced there could be conflicts with the mod, thus the reason modders usually update their mods as soon as possible after a release.

It could work. It might not. Depends.
