server cpu's vs desktop cpu's

Server processors are made to be very reliable and accurate, while speed is important it does not take precedence over those previously mentioned. They are generally 'better' at multi-tasking but with the current dual core cpu's for average users and even avid gamer, server processors are unnecessary and expensive in most applications other than well...in a server...
