Shared Hard Drive to Xbox 360

We have an external hard drive hooked up in our house that is shared over our network and I was wondering if there was any way to access it on our Xbox so you can play music and such off of it?

Run the zune software that the XBOX support site says you need and tell the software to look at that drive.
