Slow Copy

Hey friends, I am just plagued of slow copy process of large files. Please suggest me the ways to crank it up. I request you please do not give me the solutions of software like burst copy and other. Please suggest me the manual idea.

if u can, then upgrade your RAM.
also regularly defragging ur hard disk should help
