Steam Doesn't Start Up

Ok so I would post this on steam forum but apparently the mods need to approve my account first.
Anyways, so I installed steam on my hard drive 2 weeks ago, everything was fine. Then yesterday I tried install TF2, but then my steam crashed on me. Several tries later I decided to reinstall Steam. After I reinstalled steam I started getting this problem where it would be stuck updating at 99% percent and would not let me continue. Then I uninstalled it, and installed it again on my SSD on this time. And voila!, it works perfectly. Only thing is my SSD only has 1 more gb left. So anyone know whats going on? Thank you for the help!
 
It's very possible that your existing drive has errors on it. Have you tried testing it?
 
Awesome. So looks like I have to replace the hard drive after 2 weeks of use. Can't even play skyrim with my physical disk :(. Thanks though!
