Stupid Question about PSU.....

Go ahead, laugh if I am being ridiculous.....

But that Corsair 620W PSU has a 50-amp current and my room only has a 20-amp circuit breaker, you get my thinking? Is this going to create a problem? I am not an electrician, lol.

Thanks

Computer PSU's operating at a lower voltage then a normal house hold circuit, running at a max of 12V. What the PSU does is it converts the 110-120v power that comes in from any USA home outlet, and then converts it into a much higher output, but at 12V or less, rather then 120V.

So basically, it takes in a high voltage, low amperage current, and converts it to a low voltage, high amperage current. So no, it's not actually taking 50A+ from your wall socket.
