Stuttering, Blacklight Retribution

DL'd it yeterday, played it some and liked it, but it won't stop stuttering, even bottomed out, and i can't see it @ 1280x1024 using all 1.280mb of vram. I have the latest drivers and all so is it the game or what?
 
Whats your internet connection like?..

I was playing it this morning,Not a bad game especially for free!...did not experience any stuttering here.
 
6.71/3.54 down/up, will go reset my router, should be 20 at least.

I love the game though, i loved the first on my 360, it's just a lot different and i love the weapon stuff, make it exactly like you want, right now i purchased the sniper prebuilt and doing decent with it, but noticed, didn't stutter as bad on one map as it did the dark market place one, and i know it's not the vram cuz i've tested it bottomed out and it stuttered and at 800x600 (eehhhhh, never going back to that again, once you've gone high (comparatively) res you can never go back) it still stuttered.

I like how realistic that weird depth of field thing is, but it bugs me how i can't see some stuff, but i shoot precision air rifles and it does blur out similar to how the thing does it.
 
Also, average framerate holds 60 with moments at 80, but i might have to do something cuz my gpu hit 95C! Can someone link a program that will downclock my gpu or something if it hits 100C? This game is going to kill it!

Ping dropped from 11 to 5 but dl only upped to 8.91 and up only went to 3.74

Anyone know why i'd have to re-verify the cache and replace 56 files every single time i want to play the game?
 
I also had stuttering with this game with my card, I think it's an issue with the game. I didn't care for it though so I just deleted it. Maybe wait for a patch, I'm sure others with Nvidia cards are having the same issue. I remember playing the SC2 Beta and my card hit 100 degrees, I quit that so fast. I'm also having issues with BF3 if I turn on AA at all it will freeze within 5 minutes of multiplayer, but without any AA it's fine, so maybe it's a driver issue.
 
on an ssd and it trims like once a week or something, that's what it said on some settings page i found while screwing around once.

And i've hit 96 on this mother, sorta scared me for a sec but i'm good to 105 so as long as it doesn't pass 100 i don't care, but the hot air it was pushing around got my cpu to 61C, but since it's at 3.8GHz that's not too bad
 
Is there a way to mark the files as read only, so they can't be deleted or whatever happens to them to prevent this? gonna verify and patch the files now, should i backup the game? would use most of my remaining space, only 8.5 left and game is 5.6, need to find a cheap HDD, might ask dad if he can check some repair places for any old sata's

marked them as read only, thought i remembered the option right there in the properties. Also looked before and after verificating and it went from 6.99 to 7.16GB's, but since the game properties on steam say it is 5.6GB's i'm wondering if it's just been adding the files in there every time i've verificated and added up to this much, gonna test it, just close and re-verify, haven't played or anything so should be fine.

still said 52 failed, about to delete and re-down.
