Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary on Wii

I just got a Nintendo Wii and it has the 25th Anniversary edition of Super Mario built in. Is there a way to save the games progress? and does it have to be on a SD card (which I haven't got yet). I have only found a pause function and it would be nice to save so I don't have to start right from the beginning each time I use up my lives.

I have it, but the game isn't built into the system. Its a separate cd and it saves games.

Well I got the Mario Kart Wii package and it has Super Mario built in and it's a permanent option in the menu, no CD came with it and I can't find a save function anywhere, so I'm wondering if you have to use a SD card and the option to save comes up then?

and have my query disappear into cyberspace for all eternity. If anyone at the forum is familiar with this addition of Mario, I'd appreciate any information.

i think contacting nintendo is your best bet here, iv had two wii's and i have never heard of a full game like mario being on the system without an sd card?

is it the new supermario bros, or is the old snes styled mario bros?

if it is the old style one, then yeah you probably do have it on your system and iirc you couldnt save your game, this i could be wrong about though.

but yeah contact nintendo

Nintendo actually has pretty awesome customer service. Just give them a call and I bet you can get your question answered.

if its the snes version and not the version they brought out last last year then i dont think you can save it.

best bet is contact nintendo, they may even have like a webcast based customer service like EA.
