SuperPI 1M TOPLIST - Single Core Only

Ok, I'm sure there are alot of "single core" guys here, so I thought I'd make a thread for single cored CPU's only, disabling one core and posting a score will not count.

You gotta have a screenshot, please make the checksum visible, any cooling allowed, it's only valid if you have SuperPI version that's posted below, scores higher than 60 seconds will not be in toplist.

Please don't post full screenshots, make it as a tumbnail or post a direct link.

Download SuperPI Mod 1.5 here!

I'll start with mine and update this post as new scores come.

THERE WILL BE A TOP LIST HERE

SuperPi only runs on one core anyways, so whats the difference if you have a single or dual core processor?

it means no Core 2 duos :P the best processor that can be run on it is an AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 :P

My question is why... SuperPi is single threaded, so it shouldn't matter if your CPU is a dual-core or not. Besides, they have Core Solo's, which would still own an FX-57 at SuperPi :P

1st part is correct,
2nd part, it doesn't mean that FX-57 will get the best score, a P4 570J @ 5 Ghz can score under 25 seconds, but to have it clocked so high you need some extreme cooling like liquid nitrogen.

Everyone please, this is a competition for sport compacts, like turboed civics and stuff. Sure they're pretty quick, but a civic will never be as fast as a twin turbo vette, cobra, viper... etc. Us single core guys are the honda civics, you dual core guys are the vipers. Apples and Oranges.

What so your basically limiting the power of the CPU that can be entered into this competition...? Even though geoff has quite rightly stated that SuperPi is isnglethreaded and would only ever utilise one core..... Downst make much sense to me, you can just look at the countless SuperPi threads before this and just look at who ISN'T using a C2D

maybe ive got the wrong end of the stick here....

But if DC's are allowed, then guess what, it'd be the same as the other overall top PI times thread wouldn't it?

It's for people that can have competition with some older CPU's.

34,346sec , 3000+ @ 2,7GHz

No screenshot? :(

Well if you don't post a screenshot then anybody can say "if Archangel didn't why should I?", you know what I mean,

and you should try overclocking that CPU a bit further, and try to lower your RAM timings just to be stable enough to run SuperPI, I scored 35 seconds @ 2.4 GHz.

i have it on 2,7GHz atm.. im not going much further than that ( thx for pointing out my sig isnt accurate anymore tough :) )

Well my Quickest is 34s.

Just did one a min ago and got 39s cos I had a game in the background, will cancel processes and rebench in a while and add a screeny:)

The Core Duo's aren't that good, imo...

The Core Duo's are almost identical in terms of performance when your comparing them clock to clock. Theres even less of a difference in games, where they usually only show about 0.1-1 FPS difference.

I know this is for single core CPU's, I just want to show Rambo what my Core Duo i used to have in my Dell Inspiron E1505 got in SuperPi 1M:

Remember, that was with the mobile version, and it was running at a fairly low clock speed.

Just OC'd to 2.95 and reduced process count to 22, just got 33s :)

erm  wtf does that mean?

Il host it in my site for now :S

(wait a min)

Done:)
