k so I'm looking for a PC game that is kinda like a police simulator where you do some training and tactical missions to take down the bad guy. Anybody know of a game like this. I want a FPS that is different than just finding bad guys and shooting them and moving on.
 
splinter cell coulbe agent is kind of what you might be looking for

theres lots of observing and planning in that game, It's a real thinker. I struggle on the normal and hard difficulty, not to mention extreme

you can distract them by whistling, and knock them out. throw bottles to draw attention. you also have all the special gear(bolt guns, stun guns bla bla bla)

its entertaining when ur cooked as hell
 
Any of the Splinter Cell games might be about what you're looking for. If you have a PS2 (or access to one) the Metal Gear Solid series doesn't having training simulators, but the missions are very much special agent orientated. That's the only one's I can think of at the moment...
 
Yes Swat 4 is realy good for this,You can command your swat team on every move they make too.

lol, I think those are the ones he doesn't want koOp. How about Conflict Vietnam. Not uber tactical, but it's not like CS or BF.
 
If you want to try some old school DOS goodnes you can try Police Quest, which it where the SWAT series draws its roots from. I think there were 3 or 4 in the PQ series. That was a fun game though.
