The Child's Play Golden Charity Event - Team Fortress 2

Hello CF,

So while I was reading on the Steam forums I came across this thread:

This was an excellent idea and it made me smile a whole lot after reading his cause, I thought Id share this to you guys! Basically in the game 'Team Fortress 2' there were 100 people randomly selected to get the 'Golden Wrench' on the Engineer update.

This man has received Golden Wrench #31 and on the 31st of August he will select 20 of the top Donators, go into a server, and watch the man delete his Golden Wrench. I thought this was a great cause to help spread the word to all the other TF2 players out there, to help out.

This seems a little strange to me. I've sort of lost touch with the TF2 community over the past 3 or 4 months...why do people want to destroy the golden wrenches?

I guess its cool he's trying to help out charity with video games...
